There are 6±1 harmonic voltages and currents on the low-voltage side of the power supply system, especially the 5th harmonic voltage and current, which cause serious distortion of the system voltage and current, which affects the normal operation and safe production of the equipment. Due to the low natural power factor of the DC equipment, a large amount of reactive power is absorbed during operation, so that a large amount of reactive current flows through the rectifier transformer, resulting in an increase in the temperature rise of the transformer and affecting the service life of the transformer.

Treatment effect

The power factor, voltage and current waveform have been well improved: the power factor has been increased to 0.9887, which greatly reduces the reactive power loss and effectively solves the problem of interest rate penalty of the power supply bureau. The 5th and 7th harmonic currents are treated, and the harmonic filtering rate reaches 95%.
